Engagements.

Security readiness, from position to evidence.
We establish where your premises stands, identify what requires attention, implement the necessary arrangements and leave you with a record capable of scrutiny. Four stages. One clear outcome: a security position you can explain, implement and evidence.

01 — The Method

Know. Assess. Implement. Evidence.

Four stages, undertaken in order. Each answers a clear question. The engagement concludes when the required outcome has been established.

  1. 01 Know

    Establish your position.

Are you in scope? Which tier applies? Who is responsible?

We establish the position by reference to the Act and applicable regulations.

You receive: a written determination setting out the conclusion and its basis.

If the legislation does not apply, we tell you. The engagement ends there.

  2. 02 Assess

    Identify the gap.

What is required? What is already in place? What needs attention?

We assess the premises, existing arrangements and operational practice through site observation, documentation review and structured discussions.

You receive: a clear readiness assessment identifying the actions required.

  3. 03 Implement

    Put the arrangements in place.

What needs to change? Who owns it? When will it be completed?

We develop the procedures and measures appropriate to your premises, operation and staffing model.

You receive: tailored procedures, briefing material and an implementation plan with named owners and dates.

  4. 04 Evidence

    Make your position demonstrable.

What was assessed? What was decided? Why? What were staff told?

We bring the assessment, decisions, rationale and communications together into a clear evidential record.

You receive: a structured evidence pack capable of demonstrating your security position when required.

Annual review and refresh are available under retainer.

02 — Responsibility

Responsibility remains where the law places it.

The statutory duty remains with the Responsible Person. It cannot be transferred to a consultancy.

Our role is different.

We establish the position, identify the gap, develop the arrangements and document the reasoning behind them.

We do not sell certification or promise a substitute for the Responsible Person’s judgement.

Where a measure is not proportionate to the premises, we say so — and document the reasoning.

Clear advice. Proportionate measures. A record capable of scrutiny.

03 — The Engagement

Your duty. Our expertise.

The legal duty remains with the Responsible Person. The work required to address it does not have to fall entirely on your team.

We interpret the requirements against your premises, establish what is needed, coordinate implementation and document the outcome — with defined actions, clear responsibilities and minimal disruption to operations.

  1. 01 Operations

    Your business keeps moving.

We structure the work around your operating requirements, minimising disruption while your team provides the access, information and decisions necessary to progress.

  2. 02 Interpretation

    Clarity on what applies.

We assess the legislation against your premises, including its use, capacity, activities and applicable thresholds. You receive a clear, written assessment of the requirements relevant to your business.

  3. 03 Delivery

    A defined route to completion.

We turn requirements into an actionable plan, with prioritised tasks, named owners and target dates. Progress is structured, responsibilities are clear and outstanding actions are visible.

  4. 04 Proportionality

    Every measure has a reason.

We assess existing arrangements, identify material gaps and recommend proportionate measures. Where additional action is not warranted, the rationale is documented.

  5. 05 People

    Preparedness must work in practice.

Your procedures must be understood by the people expected to follow them. We provide practical briefing materials and guidance suited to your premises and operational teams.

  6. 06 Accountability

    Evidence you can stand behind.

The statutory duty remains with the Responsible Person. We provide a documented record of the assessment, decisions, actions and supporting evidence to inform management oversight and demonstrate the work undertaken.
